Dear Coaches,

I hope your year has ended and started well.  I am sure you are gearing up for the spring season for Boy’s or looking ahead at your Girls for the months to come.  We will be holding our Annual Winter Meeting, on February 15, 2006, at 7:00 pm, at Kettering Fairmont High School, Room 217.  This meeting is a compilation of both girls and boys coaches and allows us to cover a multitude of information.  If anyone knows of a topic they would like to bring up, I would appreciate it if you would email or call me with your ideas if possible.

I am in the process of developing a website for us, and even though it will be ever changing, please feel free to visit it now and pull up and print off a lot of valuable information.  I have a 2006 interactive calendar, entry forms for the MVTCA events, area polls, minutes to past meetings, list of honorees, and various other items. – I hope you’ll find it useful, Check it out as it develops!

The address is: mvtca.otca.us/home

Also included in this mailing are entry forms to our next 4 events, please fill out and return to me ASAP for entry of your team.  Also, don’t forget to submit PO’s to your AD for the $75 fee for the 2006 MVTCA Boy’s Indoor Scrimmage and your membership dues of $15 per season.  The membership dues for boy coaches must be paid before voting night, May 23rd, and I would like the $75 entry fee on or before the scrimmage please.  All other events will be invoiced after we play them, in case of inclement weather.

In addition, you will find entry forms for the Boy’s USTA Dayton Area Qualifier (16’s & 18’s in Darke, Miami, Montgomery and Preble Counties): Feb. 22 – Feb 27, 2006.  Hand out to your players for a nice warm-up before the season.  Deadline to enter: Feb. 19th.

Another website of interest is the Ohio Tennis Coaches’ Assoc. site at:   otca.us

The OTCA Clinic is coming up March 5 & 6, and information and registration can be found on this site.  Also, there is a link for hotel reservations with a group discount at the Marriott NW.
